About Rick Morrison - Morrisonphotos

Richard  Morrison  started taking photos in high school.  After developing a  fulfilling professional life as a scientist Rick came back to photography to capture his children playing soccer.  This led to an opportunity to shoot the Seattle Sounders beginning in 2007.  He continued to shoot the Seattle Sounders when they became a part of Major League Soccer (MLS).  Rick published a book of his images capturing the highlights of the Seattle Sounders inaugural MLS season (Seattle Sounders FC Season One, 2010 - Sasquatch Books).

Rick has a passion for landscape photography, which started when he began backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in College.  Multiple week long trips in the mountains instilled a deep appreciation of the peace, natural beauty and wild-life that exists in this magnificent mountain range.  He continues to be an avid hiker and enjoys capturing landscape images wherever his travels take him.

As parents on his children's soccer teams began to appreciate his soccer photography they asked him to start taking family portraits, senior photos and even weddings.  Rick is available by appointment for your Sports, Senior Photos, Family Portraits, Engagement, and Wedding Photos.

Rick is available to take your photos within the following areas:

- King County, Washington

- Other areas outside of King County and Washington State (travel fees applied).
